Berkshire Dance Theatre Moves to Howland School in Adams, MA

ADAMS, Mass., August 1, 2018 - The Berkshire Dance Theatre (BDT) Board Directors is pleased to announce a relocation of the Adams studio to the historic Howland School at 46 Howland Ave. in Adams, MA. The building is owned and operated by C W Construction, Inc.. BDT does not anticipate any delay in starting classes for the 2018-19 school year. The announcement of this move went out the BDT community on July 30, 2018. The dance school had previously operated out of the St. John Paul II Parish, 21 Maple St, Adams, MA..
There will be an Open House at the Howland School location on August 16, from 5 to 7 pm to which the community is invited. Students can register for classes at that time as well.
Berkshire Dance Theatre offers an array of classes from beginner to pre-professional in three studio locations - Adams, Williamstown, and Bennington Vermont. The Bennington Studio offers adult classes instruction as well. Classes for the 2018-19 year include ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, pointe, lyrical, modern, breakdance, Bollywood, musical theatre, acrobatics, and choreography with a staff of thirteen instructors and two co-directors. The Board of Directors is composed of six individuals residing in Adams, Clarksburg, Williamstown, Bennington and Hoosick, New York and welcomes new members annually. tele: 413-652-1014; email: email@example.com In addition to the August 16 open house at the Adams location, BDT will host open houses at the Bennington studio (120 Union St, Bennington, VT.) and the Williamstown Studio (Williams Youth Center, 66 School Street, Williamstown, MA.) on August 14 and 15, respectively. All open houses run 5-7pm.
Berkshire Dance Theatre (BDT), incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1982, is devoted to the advancement of dance and other performing arts. BDT provides beginning, intermediate and advanced students the opportunity to improve their technical and artistic skills in dance and related arts, and fosters public awareness and interest in dance and other performing activities. BDT's experienced instructors not only teach dance; they also offer our
students the opportunity to put on public performances throughout the year. It serves students from Massachusetts, Vermont and New York state. It welcomes students of all abilities from 18-month to adult.
