For more than 40 years, Berkshire Dance Theatre has played an important role in our community by providing a welcoming place for artistic expression, creativity, and growth. We are proud to offer high-quality dance and performing arts education with talented, dedicated instructors to students of all ages and abilities. Our programs help students develop not only dance skills, but also confidence, joy, discipline, and mutual respect. These qualities stay with them throughout their lives and strengthen the communities around them.

 

As the only nonprofit dance company in this area, we keep our tuition rates affordable and have several scholarship programs to help those unable to afford the cost of tuition attend our programs. Through programs such as our Angel Fund, we also provide financial assistance and scholarships to families who may otherwise be unable to participate. While we are committed to maintaining the highest quality instruction, we also believe that dance education should remain accessible and affordable.

Berkshire Dance Theatre is a nonprofit organization tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. ​
